Jewelry

With over a decade of experience in fine jewelry design, I blend creativity and technical expertise with a deep understanding of client needs and consumer trends. The work showcased below includes fully realized custom designs, CAD renderings, and hand-drawn illustrations, all developed with an eye for artistry and precision. Supported by my Graduate Gemologist certification and CAD training from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), I oversee the meticulous sourcing of high-quality diamonds and gemstones and collaborate with leading casting houses and skilled bench jewelers to create finished jewelry that meets both technical and artistic standards. Focusing on craftsmanship, innovation, and client requirements, these pieces reflect the high standards expected in the fine jewelry and fashion industries.

Hidden Details

Many of my clients are looking for ways to personalize their custom engagement rings while maintaining a classic overall feel to the design. As shown below, hidden details are one way I enhance the customer experience and strike a balance between unique and classic style in my custom designs.

A 14k white gold engagement ring with an oval-cut purple sapphire set at its center with a diamond studded band. Both sides of the bezel underneath the center stone are decorated with hand-engraved stars surrounding a crescent moon with a flush-set round diamond.

A 14k white gold engagement ring for a book-loving English teacher featuring at contemporary cut antique-style square cushion diamond set in a diamond studded band. The basket of metal holding the center stone is sculpted to mimic the spine and cover of an open book.

A 14k rose gold engagement ring set with diamonds re-claimed from family jewelry. At the center is a round diamond flanked by 3 diamonds on either side - round, baguette, round. The Groom’s birthstone - Tsavorite Garnet - is bezel-set beneath the center stone on both sides, adding a pop of color and a sentimental detail seen most easily by the wearer.

Product Development & Manufacturing

I honed my production skills at a luxury jewelry house, where I oversaw both our in-house line and collections for prestigious brands. This experience built the foundation of my deep understanding of the entire jewelry-making process—from design and gemstone sourcing to CAD, casting, team management, and quality control - enabling me to consistently deliver exceptional results for my clients.

Revitalizing an Heirloom: Crafting Versatile Jewelry from Precious Family Stones

The client commissioned me to create a necklace and earrings using her 2.91-carat diamond engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings, aiming for pieces that would complement a gold and diamond bracelet she already owned. She wanted the jewelry to be less intimidating, versatile, and suitable for frequent wear. Upon removing the diamond from its ring, I discovered chips along the girdle, so I had it re-cut to 2.80 carats, polished, and certified, enhancing its clarity grade and increasing its value by 41%. . I presented four design options, and after receiving the client's approval on the final CAD models, I sent the files to be 3D-printed and cast in 14-karat white gold. The pieces were finished by my bench jeweler, and I added an adjustable chain to the necklace for added versatility.
